Fathers House Church
Community Takeaway cafe
CLOSED UNTIL THE NEW YEAR
Following the announcement of the latest UK Government Covid Guidelines that come onto effect
from 10/12/2021 it is now mandatory to wear a Face Covering whilst attending Places of Worship
unless you are medically exempt from doing so.
At present singing is still allowed but within the confines of following Social Distancing and the wearing of Face Coverings where possible.
There is hope for the hungry!
Being an active part of the local community is at the heart of what we do at Father’s House Church. For about 18 months we have been running a Street Cafe for the Homeless on Saturday evenings which has moved to being a ‘Takeaway Service’ during the Coronavirus pandemic. We also use to provide a Community Cafe every Wednesday for many years but we had to close this service with the Covid restrictions in March 2020.
Now we are delighted to be able to open the Community Cafe again as a Takeaway Service.
This time it is for those who find themselves struggling to make ends meet and
as such are struggling to get a decent meal.
So every Thursday from 12:00 - 2:00pm
we offer a free hot meal to those who are unable to pay.
There is no catch, we just want to bless you with the love of Jesus!
If you can pay then we gladly accept donations!
Or if you would like to contribute to keeping this amazing service running
which is staffed entirely by volunteers then we would be very grateful!
